Guam Governor Calvo has commuted sentences for 3 more, clearing the way for sending them home
A press release from Adelup includes no details about where the latest group of non-U.S. citizen felons will be sent when deported, but it provides plenty of clues about why they are undesirable residents of Guam, even if locked up in prison.
Fel Maxmaylena, Jeshua Joshua and Rikat Roten face deportation. Governor Eddie Calvo signed commutations for the three men, kick-starting the process to deport them, which means, as the release puts it, "they will no longer pose a threat to the people of Guam."
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement identified the three non-U.S. citizens for having committed deportable crimes.
• Fel Maxmaylena also known as Max May Lean Fel, Nickerson Fell, Nick Nuwag, Maxaylean Fel, Leroy Limchig, and Arshon Fell Wenig, was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony, and second-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony.
• Jeshua Joshua also known as Jess Joshua, Joshua Geshua, and Joshua Jeshua was convicted of home invasion as a first-degree felony, burglary as a second-degree felony, and second degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony.
• Rikat Roten also known as John Doe, Roten Richard, Roten Rorensis Rikat, and Ruten Rikat was convicted of five counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct all as first-degree felonies.
"Once deported they will not be allowed back on Guam and thus will not have an opportunity to hurt another Guamanian," the release says..
The men will be transferred to the custody of the federal government until they are deported. Calvo has commuted sentences — for either removal or deportation – of a total of 71 convicts to date.
