The first-ever Nissan Kicks, the newest entry in the fastgrowing affordable compact crossover market, has officially arrived on Guam.
The Kicks offers customizable interior and exterior features, roominess, personal technology, smart functionality, best-in-class fuel economy and advanced safety features at an affordable price.
“This crossover is bold, it’s versatile and maybe most importantly, it’s a whole lot of fun to drive,” said Brian Downey, general sales manager for Nissan Guam. “The tech is at the top its game, including Nissan Intelligent Mobility, in-headrest Bose speakers and with the customizable features, you can make your Kicks look different than any other car on the road.”
Smart Interior, Personalized Technologies Inside, the Kicks’ story is one of quality and futuristic design in a cabin full of the innovative features, perfect for a tech-hungry audience. Kicks’ modern and simple instrument panel design is dominated by a centrally mounted seven-inch full color display housing a comprehensive infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connectivity on its SV and SR trim levels.
“This technology enhances your entire driving experience, and allows you to make it completely your own,” said Downey. “With Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, you can access your voice assistant, apps and music with just the touch of a button on the steering wheel.”
And, for the ultimate audio experience, the Kicks SR Premium Package includes the new class-exclusive Bose Personal Plus sound system which delivers a superior, listening experience, including a pair of Bose speakers located inside the Kicks' driver's seat head restraint, immersing the driver in 360 degrees of sound. “The Kicks also offers an available Intelligent Around View Monitor, which uses four on-board cameras to give you a 360-degree birds-eye view so you can park without worry,” continued Downey.
“It’s the only model in its class with standard Automatic Emergency Braking that monitors the vehicle in front of you and will stop automatically for you. The Rear Cross Traffic Alert feature watches around the rear of your Kicks and warns you if it detects a car that is too close. In short, this technology has your back — and it also has your front!” Dramatic Design The new 2018 Kicks offers a range of seven exterior colors – plus five two-tone combinations.
Three of the two-tone color schemes utilize a black roof and contrasting body colors of white, orange or red, along with an orange roof-grey body combination and a white roof-blue body combination. “The bold exterior and the expressive interior design make this car a complete head-turner,” said Downey. “Plus, with the Kicks Color Studio, you can personalize the accents and finishes to make it a true one-of-a-kind.” The Kicks Color Studio allows drivers to choose colors for the front lip finisher, side mirror caps, door handle covers and rear roof spoiler.
Additional design signatures include the Nissan V-Motion grille, boomerang headlights and taillights, the distinctive “floating roof" and a black finish that blends into the tailgate glass, giving it an eye-catching appeal.
