Leevin Taitano Camacho files for Attorney General race

Guam Attorney Leevin Taitano Camacho has joined what is now a three way race for the Guam Attorney General's office, filing his papers officially with the Guam Elections Commission Monday. The other candidates are former AG Doug Moylan and Guam attorney and businessman G.W. Frank Gumataotao.

Sen. James Espaldon and former Superior Court Magistrate Judge Alberto Tolentino have picked up packets for the position, but have yet to declare their intentions.

Tuesday is the last day to file for the August 25th primary election.

Camacho said that he'll make a priority of working with the Legislature to strengthen protections for government employee whistle blowers.
