The Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam announces the opening of the exhibition 'UOG Poetry Broadsides: A Printmaking and Creative Writing Collaboration and Print Artworks from Collections.' Through this collaborative project, printmaking students created visual artworks based on the original poetry written by creative writing students. The exhibition features twelve prints based on twelve poems. An opening reception will be on Thursday, August 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Isla Center for the Arts located at #15 Dean's Circle on the University of Guam campus. UOG Poetry Broadsides is open to the public, and admission is free. The exhibition will be on display from August 31 to October 6 at the Isla Center for the Arts located at #15 Dean’s Circle, on the University of Guam campus. This exhibit is sponsored in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency, the Government of Guam, Office of the Governor, and the University of Guam.
