(GRMC)-- The Guam Regional Medical City and Guam Public Health are offering another round of free healthy living workshops this year for those suffering from chronic conditions.
“Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions” is a series of workshops held once a week over the course of 6 weeks. Each workshop lasts two-and-a-half hours. They are being offered at no-cost to island residents struggling with heart and lung diseases, diabetes, arthritis, or other chronic conditions.
The first series of workshops begins Jan. 28 at the Northern Regional Community Health Center. The next series gets underway at GRMC on April 20th. Participants will learn how to stay active, eat healthy foods and manage the fear and frustration that comes with a chronic disease.
